The last several years have witnessed the passing of a depressingly long list of genre artists. I wonder who will (or could) replace them?

I always thought Saberhagen's "Berserkers" were one of the best SF creations. His ideas of "Good Life" and the ancient battle of machines were top notch creations of SF. He will be missed.

Empire from the East was great stuff . He was a great writer , one the best of all time.
