World without End is the sequal to one of my favorite books
"The Pillars of the Earth" - Ken Follett.
It is due to be released in October 2007 and I can understand Follett's trepidation in writing a sequel. Pillars is a massive book not only in size but as a brilliant novel.
Apparently it takes up the story of Knightsbridge some two centuries after Pillars concludes and tells the story of the characters in Pillars decendents set against the backdrop of the plague...
I for one will be lining up for this book.
I have read and re read Pillars. I think I have my third copy now as previous copies have fallen apart from constant reading and lending.
Who else is excited about this soon to be published sequel?
