Hi -during the 50s and sixties I read lots of scifi -but now I am trying to trace the name of a short story-- it was a tale of a group of people in a room deciding who would be a President and who would rule whatever- one of the characters named was Silas Carp to be put forward as a President because with a name like that no one would pick him- the tale I remember but not the title-it was in one of the above books I think -can anyone PLEASE point me in the right direction?
