"The Megalith"
...
EXT. BATTLEFIELD – DAY

Cuillaume just stands there and watches, he is strong mighty warrior, a lot of white hair on his arms, but he’s not eager to fight the beast, instead he finds King Estmund, storms to him when seeing him laying on the ground. He’s dead.

MAC CUILLAUME (TALL)
(calls out)

thanks Anthorn, taht is truly the first rule in screenwriting, the script should be quite visual, I am sure there is a way to delete some more dialog

in short:
Quenby finds and saves Prince Mac Cuillaume, her true love. Cuillaume assisted by dwarves, the wind, and the birds saves her from the enchanted forest, the underworld, and from the fiery dragon of chaos in fierce battles, and can with her open a new dimension of eternal youth at the gate of Aasa, the henge of the ancient temple.

What do you think of it? This is the beginning of a screenplay:

As a bird gliding in the air, the ancient Tall City stronghold, sand dunes, bog pools, megalithic stone patterns, and thatch roofed farms below are moving by. Shortly the landscape starts to be damaged as if someone has ridden through it with a boat and left behind great trenches, dikes, and ditches. At a moment when something like a tail of a dragon is demolishing a small hill with huts and a wooden stronghold, then a blow of fire at the village. Pulling back revels this reflection coming from a round stone that is hanging on a dirty chest. It is MAC CUILLAUME, a ten year old boy. He plays with a winged lizard-like frog tadpole who’s body is like an ox, fore and hind legs like frog’s and the tail like a chain of a long snake, letting it climb and wiggle on him. There is something in his hand that the frog wants and he’s trying to keep away from him. Sun rise up in the hills of breath taking landscape. Light peaceful rustic string and fife MUSIC in harmony with the TWITTERING birds fills the air.

The boy’s stepfather, ODE, comes closer, sets his large knap-pouch on the ground.

ODE
Son, come here. Sit here beside me.

some background on the screenplay

Theme: True love breaks the bonds of death and (True love goes beyond death.)

Sub theme: The winning of the dragons of our lives through true love is the essence of the hero.

When Cuillaume has slain the Dragon: Below the hill, the hero is carrying Quenby, in the megalithic corridor marked with pointed granite pillars bordering the massive crowds. He is dripping with sweat, looks like he can go just a little further. Quenby: „You are a mighty army the end of chaos.” Cuillaume: „When we bind the Spewer down, and keep it down, then we are a mighty army.”

More Sub themes:

There are good creatures in the universe; friends will help you on your way.

Trust the ones who love you.

Evil will never seas to stop you, pay no attention to it, rise above it.

Life is a consequence to choice rather then a fate.

Get away from your comfort, take a journey to the uncomfortable and you will grow and make everything you have done worthwhile.

However much power evil will get in this world the heroes will save the day.

What pride and selfishness does to families?

Romantic Epic – This is a heart drenching love story, where the hero will need to learn to compromise for her or perish.

The word is Help: The hero and villain groups of characters work to help and compensate for the other in the group. They don’t act alone but in unison. If there were two more words then these would be love and freedom. Help drives the love to freedom = power.

Connection and disconnection: This is very important and powerful driving force for the emotions of this film, as Cuillaume and Quenby spend a lot of time away from each other, missing and searching for each other, and finally compensating for each-other. This magnetic field collides and then it is drawn apart again until the climax, when he saves her by slaying the dragon.

It is easy to become deeply emotionally involved with the
Protagonists Cuillaume and Quenby. The protagonist has a worthwhile goal to strive for – to open the gate of eternal youth and to learn the need for Quenby. For Quenby this is to do her part in helping Cuillaume and to survive.

Protagonist: Cuillaume the Prince of Aisti (with Quenby). Cuillaume (Hands) and Quenby (Lily) change appearance while in the Underworld.

Antagonist: Gwendamort (with his group of witches, black cat, little lizards) He is present in different dimensions with a different form:
Mortal – Spewer, the Northern Frog, or the Dragon
In the World of the Dream (the transitional aria behind the river of Toonemaa) he appears disguised as – Ronan (the woodchopper and the guide in the forest for lost dreamers)
Underworld – Gwendamort (the devil)
