Okay so I remember this amazing fantasy book I read a few years ago, which I only ran across because I pop by the new fantasy section at the library every so often. I have absolutely totally forgotten the title however!
So enough back story. The book has a pegasus on the cover with I believe a rider atop it. The book itself was about some sort of family who passed on the duty of some kind of lighthouse-keeper/bell-watcher kind of thing. One day the bell rang but the old fogey doesn't believe the young guy who hears it, and they of course have to go find out what happened.
That's really all I remember. Any help at all would be nice.
