The last of this trilogy written by Douglas Clegg is now available, and a description caught my eye.
"Clegg crafts a fitting finale ornamented with prose that modulates between the sensual and regal and that distinguishes his series as one of the more memorable modern vampire epics."
I'm looking for any comments on the series from fellow fantasy fans.

This is a series quite dark, involved and bloody.

I read books 1 + 2 and enjoyed them very much.

Maybe I liked it so much because I like vamps to be vamps but not the brainless twits that just go killing people and nothing more.

This vamps are very original, the author (for me) has done a great job as it adds a few unexpected situations and the time and place of the story is very catching.

As I said, I liked them very much, and it has the added bonus that the 3 books are out, which means that you do not have to wait for the next three years to know how it will end.
