Finally saw this last night. Not a bad way to start the series, and I'm looking forward to the next part.

Well I trump that, I finally saw this after 6 years (blame Virgin/Sky & not because I didn't want to). Looking back at my Season 3 comments I think I thought at the time that they had started to merely go through the motions in this series. These last few episodes are a welcome change. People die or are at least in danger of dying. Major changes do occur - leaving the planet for one thing. I can see now why people who were watching said it was going from strength to strength.

On the negative side, Rodney is no longer funny but just annoying. Just like the addition of Ben Browder and Claudia Black to SG-1, I can't picture Jewel Staite as anything other than Kaylee in Firefly.

On the positive side, the Replicators are a more dangerous enemy than the Wraith ever were.
