Children of the forest

the children of the forest play a big part in the destruction of the other's I assume...But who are they...what do they look like....Where they there the same time old valyria was still standing????....I really would like to know...does anybody have any insight into this?????

They are the boogiepeople! Hee hee. I've tried to imagine GRRM's interpretation of characters. TCOTF... are they even real!? Or just a fairy tale to scare young children into going to bed on time!???

Wel lthat is what some people thought of the other's in teh book...and some still don't beleive that there are other's but they are real so why not the children of the forest
