A former friend of mine told me about this book (or series of books, i'm not sure) several years ago and I would like to find it, unfortunately I have forgotten both the title and the author's name (I had them written down but lost the piece of paper).
The following may not be completly accurate, it has been some time since I was told this.
All I can remember being told was that a woman had some sort of spell or enchantment placed on her that made her believe she was or behave like a chimera/chimaera (a 3 headed creature with the head of a man, the head of a woman and the head of a dragon). The spell on her was broken but because she had been pregnant when the spell was upon her her unborn child had transformed into a chimaera, a wizard (or alchemist, perhaps the same one who broke the spell) could not reverse the unborn child's transformation so instead the wizard somehow seperated the chimaera just before the mother gave birth, so instead of giving birth to a chimaera the mother gave birth to a boy, a girl and a dragon.
As I said the above may not be totally accurate but that's the best I can remember it being told to me.
Any help with this (especially a title and/or author) would be greatly appreciated.
