McMurphy
Apostate Against the Eloi
For those of you who, like me, loved Pan's Labyrinth, you will pleased to know that the director returns to his dark magical ways with the forthcoming film entitled The Orphanage.
I don't know if I can say that I liked The Orphanage more than Pan's Labyrinth---they are completely different films yet are comparable due to their kinship with dark Grimm-like motifs and themes.
The Orphanage is about a couple who adopts a HIV positive child. After moving to the (supposed) peace and quite country side and shoreline household, the emergence of sinister rounds of clue hunts leads to a twisted view on Peter Pan and an amazingly frightening disappearance of their newly adopted son.
I highly recommend this film. Like Pan's Labyrinth, the dialog is in Spanish. Word of warning, however. This is a thriller, so expect the same sort of violence that was in Pan.
