What's going on?

Yesterday, I was browsing in the new Borders bookshop in Cardiff (not bad, actually) when I happended to glance at a section headed Childrens Bestsellers. The top three in this chart appear to have been written by Iggle Piggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka respectively. Now, two childrens authors wth unusual names may be concidence, but three?

Has the world gone mad? Or am I missing something?

Do you have children under 7? If not then you will not know the wonder that is The Night Garden narrated by none other than Derek Jacobi... it's a godsend to be honest even if I do find the content a little er... hmm... how can I put this... squeaky!

Both my boys absolutely love it and even asa n adult I manage to find humour in it!

Yeah, I knew that really, hence the. I just thought that the the book covers were presented in a really odd way, with no author accredited to them. I've never actually seen the Night Garden (I don't have young children) but the character names are great!!

Hey I still love The Night Garden and I don't have any children either. I do have a kitten though. The Night Garden is a wonder indeed even after all these many years.
