Stupid question.

Sorry to bother anyone here but I am definitely naive in this subject. I am looking for a graphic novel. The problem is that I don't know the author or the name of it, all I have is a vague description for you to go on.

I saw it reviewed in Wired magazine and have since forgotten any of the details that would help me find it. What I remember is that the drawing was very clean, it almost looked like a Japanese instruction manual. It is in English. The technique that I really remember is that there is a lot of zooming. For example. I believe it showed something like the protagonist walking down the street with something in his pocket. A small circle is circling it thereby magnifying it, showing it to be a piece of paper. Then a frame is shown where it shows the paper and what it says. This "zooming" seems to be a recurring technique.

I apologize for asking such a vague question but when I asked where to ask this question I was sent here.

Thank you in advance.

Lionel

Hmm, I'm afraid I haven't heard of this, although it sounds very interesting. I'd be interested in finding out what it is, too.

Oh, and welcome to the Chronicles, Lionel!:)

Sounds similar to alan moore's the watchman. most of the chapters start with a zoom out and finish with a zoom in, and the art is clean as you say. However I don't think the scene you described is in the book so I may be wrong.
