Nice to be here and i must say after using see some of my fav authors.
Its really nice to see this site as I have the Darkweaver Quartet all signed by Mark Robson! Weird story really bought the first threeefor my son at WHS smith in Bristol about 2 years ago but i really liked them myself. went back the next year and saw the fourth one so bought that too!

Mark Robson was there and he signed them for me! I must say its the only books i have signed by an author and to have all four signed is amazing!

Thanks

Welcome, Ramoth's Rider ... or should I call you Lessa? The Dragonriders of Pern were one of my favourite series of books when I was younger. I've not read any for a few years now, but I still return to them every now and then when I feel the need for some comfort reading.

Glad to hear that you've enjoyed reading my work. I imagine you will enjoy my next series, as it's all dragons and aeroplanes. Have fun around the boards.

:)

Yes, well, we're 'two a penny' here at Chronicles you know! You have plenty to talk to: Madeline Howard/Teresa Edgerton, Mary Hoffman, Julie Bertangna, Freda Warrington, Laura J Underwood, Neal Asher and Kevin Brooks all have their own forums here. Occasional visitors include: Joe Abercrombie, Jon Courtney Grimwood, Val Tyler and Amanda Hemingway to throw just a few names around. I'm not sure that there are many places on the internet where you can chat to quite so many published authors in an open forum.

Great to see you here. :)

I have one signed book by mark its Imperial Spy i got it when he visited TAHS (a high school :p) he read a small part of it when i was in the assembly and it drew me straight in. I also had that small dinner within the library though i didnt really talk im way to shy. I dont know if you noticed but i was the one to leave quite early for a dentist appointment and i wished i could stay longer. After that day i managed to get hold of the darkweaver legacy series imperical spy and assassin and now ive just got traitor for christmas and read 9 chapters in one night but still going.

Thx mark for writing these books they really draw me into them you've done a great job. So far your books are the only ones i can keep reading even some of the harry potter books bored me and i couldnt finish them im quite hard to please ^^

p.s I dont know if you remember my friend Jason but he says hello, your books are amazing thx alot.

Hi, Katie S. Welcome. :) Nice to see you posting here, and I'm really pleased to hear that you're enjoying my books so much. I'm afraid I don't really remember that many faces from my visit to your school - the visits kind of blur into one after a while. I did a huge number of them this year, though I remember your school quite well. Your librarian and I have known each other for some years now. She used to be the librarian at a school in Abingdon when I first met her.

If Jason is the person I sent a free copy of Imperial Spy, then I do vaguely remember him, but if not, then I'm afraid he's blurred as well. :( However, do say hello back to him for me. I'm sure I'll be back to visit again at some time in the future, so you may yet get a chance to pluck up a bit more courage and come and talk with me properly. I don't bite, you know!

I hope you're going to try out the Dragon Orb books next year. There's already lots of exciting news about it quietly building up in the background, but I'm not allowed to reveal much at the moment, so I'm going to have to bite my tongue for now. Let's just say that I'm really looking forwards to hearing what people think of it. I believe the first in the series is the best story I've written so far, so I'm confident it will be well received.

Have a great 2008 and I look forwards to chatting here (at least) with you again soon.
