To clarify;

Possibly two more books on krondor, The Crawler and The dark Mage. The names are not set yet.

Two books on the Demon War. No titles

Three books on the Chaos Wars. No titles

Wrath of a MAD GOD looks to end the current saga.

I suspect that we may see a return of Macros The Balck in the Demon War saga?

How's about this;

Macro hasnt died as such but has merged with a demon in order to survive the demon realm. The emrging was a mistake and slowly macros in becoming insane. He realises that his only option is to return to Midkemia where possibly Pug can seperate him and his host. A rift he creates leaves a gateway open for other demons to enter Midkemia? War ensues!

if he has somehow merged with a demon this would exlain how Gathis could no longer sense his pressence.

As for your assumption of Macros, i'm afraid that will never be correct!
Guess you haven't read Into a Dark Realm yet? I won't spoil it, but lets say a certain someone pops up

The serpent wars were IMO the best of his books,so will look forward to it.

I was debating with myself if to wait for Wrath to come out before reading it so I could read them in one hit.

I could never wait to read any of Ray's work. I have a hard enough time just waiting from year to year - or longer - for the next book to come out... Fortunately I have 3 or 4 other authors whose books I consider as good, so at least I can keep myself busy. I read, on average, about one book a week.

I hope he finished the Krondor books. I really enjoyed them.
