The Spellchecker Song I have a spelling checker
Re reading AKOK I stumbled upon a little truth that took me by surprise. Somewhere in the area of page 250 in a bran chapter he is riding dancer in the courtyard of winterfell when a boy he knows, one winterfell banner man tell him about
Stannis letter and the Lanister incest. bran immediately laps in to a flashback, and low and behold, he remembers what happened so long ago out side a little window.
My point (except being daft and not caching up to a thing that you all discused for years...)
Is there a possibility to a future results out of this little shred of knowledge?
Interaction between bran and jaime (a.k.a revenge)?
Other spin-offs that sprout from this sudden awareness (lets say staniss freezes his ass on the wall one crisp morning pondering to himself "now, how do I prove that that bloody golden boy [and my favorite character] had shtuped that bitch?" and a voice comes from below, saying "oh them, that's easy, I saw them" or something in that area)

Any comments? (or better yet, thoughts)

I think Bran's knowledge lost all it's value. Lannisters are doomed... And quite everybody have heard about this incest and I think they don't really need any more proofs. (including Stannis)

pan, I could easily see Bran spilling the beans to Stannis. But then Stannis would never let him go. He'd book Bran on a tour of the Seven Kingdoms to testify in the name of Rh'llor that he saw Jaime and Cersei... and no one would care.

But that's taking Bran away from his adventure with the froggies, the moron, and Coldhands to find the Crow. I don't see that happening. Sam got Bran past Stannis and his witch.

But then again, could there be a showdown between Bran and Jaime in the future? It's possible. If Bran publicly accused Jaime and the charge was taken seriously, then Jaime would be in trouble. Ordinarily Jaime would lie and accuse Stannis, Bran, Stoneheart, and others of conspiring against the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard OR he'd just accept trial by combat and kill whoever they sent against him... but not anymore.

Now he will not soil his White Cloak anymore. He's through with injustice. He swore to not take arms against House Stark again so trial by combat is out... though I think if someone else made different accusations, he'd gladly fight left handed and die with honor.

No. Now I think Jaime will tell the truth.

Judge: Lord Commander, did this child see you having an affair with your sister, Robert's Queen?

Jaime: Yes, he did.

Judge: Were you the natural father of King Joffrey?

Jaime: That's what the queen told me.

Judge: Are you the natural father of King Tommen and Princess Myrcella as well?

Jaime: Do you want to know did I **** the queen? Yes, I did. But so did a lot of other people. You'll have to ask Cersei if those kids are mine.

Judge: To cover up your adultery, treachery, probable incest and foreswearing of your vows did you defenestrate Brandon Stark?

Jaime: Yes, I did.

By the way, I think the title of this thread is the best!

To continue Boaz storyline, what will happen with Jaime after his honest confession - there will be no trial by combat. Judge just says: quilty as hell! Hang 'em, boys! So Jaime will be executed next morning before sunrise. Now, in medieval times there was quite common custom, that a rascal, a thief, a rogue or some other bad guy, can be spared from execution if some innocent maiden agrees to marry him. We all know who that innocent maiden can be, who wants to save Jaime's life. So, it's Jaime's turn to say a word - rope or ...
What's the other word?
