I'm not sure if anyone here kept up with the online game last summer which went more into the history, and origins of the island. We were introduced to characters from The Hanso Foundation, and how it was tied to possible experiments on the island, and other things all over the world. We were also introduced to a character named Rachel Blake who found out about The Hanso Foundations "underground" ways, and it's apparent corrupt top brass, and her goal to try and take The Hanso Foundation down, and expose what they were really doing, to the public. It's a pretty complicated story. It could be it's own separate show. There have been some subtle ties to the game and the TV show, but not many, yet. The game was also featured in real TV commercials here in the states, real ads in newspapers, and other places, etc. (for example, we had some "odd" Sprite commercials here that were tied to the game)
It was a cool game, and there might be another one in the future. This game was created by the Lost team, and gives away quite a lot of information and clues about the history of the island, and what might have happened there, before our current group of folks on the show crash landed there.
You can see older threads/posts about it here, in The Lost Experience Forum on The Fuselage website where the online game originated. All the clues we had to find online for the game, are listed in the Clues subforum. (click on The Threaded Board link)
The Fuselage
It was a fascinating and very cool game and ran for several months in-between season 2 and 3. Check out the old threads if you want, so that you can read up on the story, and then join us for the next game, if the Lost team decides to continue it.
One of the coolest things about the game, was finding video clips all over the internet, to put together, to see the original director of The Hanso Foundation, talking about it's origins, and the evil that eventually had him kidnapped, and others took over the foundation.
There was a real TV commercial over here in The States for The Hanso Foundation during a commercial break on a Lost episode towards the end of season two. That's where the game all began.
Anyway, it's a great website, and the official one of the writers of Lost. Check it out for updates on the show and the game. Some of the Lost actors even used to post on the site, but I'm not sure if they do anymore.
I can't wait till Lost starts again over here in February! I love that show!
