Edgar Allan Poe query

Just wondering if he ever wrote any novels. I have a huge omnibus edition of his Tales and Poems(The Raven is just brilliant!) but even The Pit and the Pendelum or The Fall of the House of Usher are short stories. (10 and 15 pages respectively)

Yup. That was Poe's only finished novel. He also began another serial (intended as a novel), The Journal of Julius Rodman, but left it unfinished. I've read it, and I can see why. It's one of the very few times I've had to grit my teeth to finish something by Poe....
