... for best paperback original novel published in the US in 2007.

GREY by Jon Armstrong (Night Shade Books)
UNDERTOW by Elizabeth Bear (Bantam Spectra)
FROM THE NOTEBOOKS OF DR. BRAIN by Minister Faust (Del Rey)
NOVA SWING by M. John Harrison (Bantam Spectra)
GRADISIL by Adam Roberts (Pyr)
ALLY by Karen Traviss (Eos)
SATURN RETURNS by Sean Williams (Ace Books)

I've read... two of them: Saturn Returns and Nova Swing. The latter is the better of the pair.

Heh only M. John Harrison i know of those.

I think i will read the winner just cause its a PKD award.

Usually i dont read books cause they win awards but i wanna this time see if there is a reason they are nominated for this award.

An interesting list -- Good to see Adam Roberts' Gradisil on there, and MJH's Nove Swing.

From a selfish point of view, it would be great if either Mike or Adam won, since they both have stories in the Celebrations anthology I'll be releasing at Easter. The higher their profiles the better! :D

From a non-selfish perspective, I hope the best book wins whoever wrote it, of course. :)

The way Nova Swing is heading, it could well be making it into one of my faves.

Loving it.
