It sounds like only the first four books would interest me since it has Ashe(who is called something else in the first book and is reborn or something) and then Rhapsody who get together and are the main focus for the first four books. Except the description and stuff of the first book sounds different and it's him with Emily or something, who Rhapsody is long time ago? So they are together long time ago and then both reborn and together again from second to forth book? Even though I'm asking spoiler questions, I just don't want to read a book where the characters keep changing who they love.

So are they worth reading? It sounds like I probably wouldn't want to read past the fourth book though since it's different characters and stuff and that usually annoys me. I thought I'd try and get a bit of information before reading it.

Edit:
Or maybe it's the first 5 books, not 4. No, maybe The Assassin King also has the main characters is fine too. So 6 books then? I don't think anyone should try and read enough and not too much to spoil much like I am just to make sure it's good to read for me... Confuses yourself way to much.

read only the first 3, the others are unnecessary because 3 has closure. the love story is truly incredible.
i finished the rhapsody trilogy last night. as far as a fantasy book goes, its not the greatest ever, but the love story is beyond phenomenal. i have always been a sucker for a great love story and the love story between rhapsody and Ashe begins from when they were 14 and spans over 1400 years... the pain, suffering, war, deceit, deaths and plain agony they go through to find each other really makes u wonder about the concept of soul mates and true love. this is a couple that i dont think i will ever forget. they stand alongside Jack and Aliena from Pillars of the earth, Molly and Fitz from Farseer and Tawny Man, jim and Holly from Coldfire. Rhapsody and Ashe are a couple for the ages, their story is truly incredible. how do u find someone that u dont know you are looking for? especially when the person is your soul mate...

Only the frist three? But it sounds like the next three are also about Rhapsody and Ashe and might be good too. It's just the Ven whatever books that have different characters and aren't important.

well u can read them if u want, but after book 3 im well satisfied. the story was over and there was closure.

Alright, I'll most likely read the 6 books and not read the Ven ones. It does sounds like a good series though. They say it's like Goodkind, Jordan and Anne Bishop. Which I just finished the Black Jewels trilogy by Bishop which was really good. Which led me to this series. I'll pick up the first book in awhile most likely.

I thought it might be a good idea for me to reply after reading the six books. They were all good, I recommend people to read the series. Hopefully Haydon will stop writing the Ven books, which I think I saw were for children, and start writing the next book.
