I've just heard from Dan Gamber: the contracts have finally been signed and received on all sides. So I am happy to be able to announce that I've sold rights to the Green Lion Trilogy to Meadowhawk Press. Not only am I excited at the prospect of seeing the books back in print again, but I am thrilled to be working with Dan and Jackie. I'm not sure of the pub dates yet. When I have something definite I'll announce it here. (Or maybe we can coax Dan to drop by and divulge a little more information.)

Adding a little extra interest to this particular deal is the fact that it came about through contacts made right here at the Chronicles Network.

Congratulations, Teresa! Please let us know when you have the proposed publication dates on these....

Hey Teresa!

Yeah I am shocking and always forget to check in to Chronicles, but Dan mentioned the other day that you'd sorted stuff out - I am, needless to say, delighted!

Two exclamations in 3 lines... wow, that's me being eloquent I guess...

In fact, I have you to thank for steering me in the direction of Meadowhawk.

And I do thank you, very much.

While I have enjoyed reading all of your other published work, the Green Lion Trilogy remains my favorite.

Will Meadowhawk offer an ebook version?

Will they also be republishing the Castle of the Silver Wheel trilogy as well?

Hmmm, good question. I don't know if there will be e-book versions.

There's been some discussion about publishing the second trilogy, but obviously (among other considerations) that would depend on how well the first one does, and on whether or not Dan and Jackie found the subject matter of TCOTSW and its sequels compatible with their goals.

The Green Lion trilogy has been my favorite set of books since I first read it years and years ago. I was excited to hear that they were going to be reprinted but Meadowhawk's site still says late 2008 for a release date. Is there any news on that front? I've checked back periodically but haven't seen anything.

Thank you for your kind words, Threnody!

Publication has been delayed by my inability to go over the copy-editing due to other pressing obligations, which in turn have been delayed by me being sick for most of last year.

Now that we have my previous sickness under control (I hope), January has presented me with a lovely case of bronchitis.

As you can imagine, I am very, very eager to see the books in print again -- but my body doesn't seem to be in agreement with my brain on this one.

Feel better, TE.

Ashamed to say, I've not read any of your stuff to date, but will make it a point to check Green Lion out, once published by MH....

And welcome to the Chrons, Threnody. If you've not already done so (checked quick, but am known for missing things!), stop by the Introductions thread and tell us some more about yourself.

This was the trilogy that first introduced ME to Teresa's work and I still go back and reread it from time to time.

I'm gonna have to kick Dan. I saw him back at MidSouthCon and neither he nor Jackie mentioned this Marvelous News to me.

Congratulations, Teresa! Glad to know you're getting these back into print.

When when when?

Because I've been sick a great deal I've fallen behind on some of the things I have to do before Meadowhawk can do their part. Right now I am working on it, so maybe everything will begin to fall into place before very long. Then, maybe, we can say when.

I hope you're feeling better! Congratulations on the reprint, I may have to pick up the new copies - I've nearly worn my old ones out. I think it may have been the first series of novels I ever finished and it's still one of my favorites.
