I'm trying to remember a story about some kid friends who are part of the first commerical space travel - maybe to the moon?
They are called the "turn-ups" or "turnips" because people comment that they always "turn up" together. The main character I think was a teenaged girl, and she was embarrassed by her folks (also on the trip) because they wore a shirt "I did IT in Space" or something like that.
I used to think it was titled "The Restaurant at the End of the Galaxy" but now realize that's Adams' book. But maybe the title has Restaurant in it?
Thanks!
