I just finished reading the sixth and supposedly final book in this series. Somehow, However, I suspect that with the following the series has attracted Miss Lindskold will be tempted to write another. Be that as it may be I found the series to be quite enjoyable. The story of a girl raised by wolves as she struggles to adapt to human society is quite interesting and very well done at least in the first few books. I found that the series weakened a little as it progresed, almost as if the author had run out of ideas after the first three books. Miss Lindskold writes well and her work is generalyy free from glaring errors although she has a bit of a problem with the word "stunk" which she uses in place of the correct word "stank," but that is a minor error.

One of the things I liked about the series was that each of the six books has an ending. Athough the books should be read in chronological order the author does not leave the reader hanging in the middle of an incomplete story. As a result if you don't like the first book or get tired of the series you won't feel that you have to keep on reading just to find out how it turns out.

In general I found the series was worth reading although it does not rank among the great fantasy works, but then how many books do? I would quite willingly read another book in the series if Miss Lindskold chooses to write one.
