Do u remember a film with evil black cube robots?

I remember watching a a space film set in a war between two sides. All i remember are the visuals- one side there were black circle robot heads these were good robots i think and the other side were squares who were evil though it may have been the other way around. Does anyone have any idea what im talking about. I think they would shoot lasers from their eyes and be used as mounts. it just seems like the sort of film i would love to see again but cant find anything about it on the web. thx.

i figured out it must be terrorhawks... but my idea was better. they should be black with laser eyes- and should have real people as the cast.

Oh yay terrahwaks- I love that- it's so insane! And the spheres are cute!

Ah, brings back memories. I used to love Terrahawks, with old Sergeant Major Zero and the evil Zelda and her stupid son. Unfortunately you look back on it now and see the slightly racist jokes about Hiro, which mar it a bit.
