I have been reading Asimov's autobiography "I. Asimov" and he stated that on the cover of his book "Sensuous Dirty Old Man" there was a photograph of him on the cover and his face was masked with brassiere. Later on he showed up in some video interview for that book and had also masked his face with brassiere.
Does anyone know where can I see photo of the cover of that book "Sensuous Dirty Old Man"? I tried searching on the net but couldn't find it. I think it was only on the first edition of that book, later it was a different cover because he realized he made himself look like a fool.

I've not seen a copy (for that matter, not looked for a copy) of this one since it first came out. It's just a bit of silliness that never interested me that much... but that's all it is: silliness, in response to things like The Sensuous Man and The Sensuous Woman, etc. I don't recall the picture of Asimov being such, but then I don't recall the cover photo clearly at all. As for him removing it because he made himself look like a fool... I rather doubt that, given the nature of the thing. If it was originally like this, and was changed, most likely it was the publisher's doing in response to protests, etc. Asimov had an occasionally rather broad sense of humor, and -- as long as it wasn't malicious -- never seemed to particularly mind a chuckle aimed at himself....

He also said he went to Dick Cavett show with bra on his head.

From Protean Times: In addition, there are mystery novels, short stories and a two-volume, 1,500-page autobiography: "I did a Dick Cavett segment on June 3. It was my fourth time with him. This time I was publicizing The Sensuous Dirty Old Man, so I came out with a bra over my eyes . . . It was the silliest thing I ever did on television, and I was sorry I had agreed to do it even as I stepped out onto the stage."

Was not aware of that one. Thanks for bringing it in. Could well be, then, that you're right on why the photo was changed. This may be one of those instances where he did go so far as to embarrass himself.
