Silly Author Person
I was sick...
Then there was Mom's latest appointment...
Then there was horrible weather...
Then there was work stuff...
And now, there are edits. Yes, I just received editorial instructions for my forthcoming modern fantasy novel Angels of Mercy from Five Star Press, so now I will disappear yet again while I try to get those done.
In the mean time, I am teaching a class to teens called "How to write Seuss."
I am still working partially on Songs of the Magister rewrites, and I am breathing new life into a short story titled Tapestry of Songs, which is one of the Anwyn and Glynnanis tales.
And speaking of the Harper Mage and his saucy harp, I have just learned that Magic's Song: Tales of the Harper Mage will soon be going out of print--which was to be expected since this was the last year of the contract.
So, if you were planning to get a copy, I would suggest you order it real soon.
Me, I'm not upset about this. I have other plans for some of the stories, and I am also working on a graphic novel (very slowly) based on The Auld Wife's Lift, which is actually in my second Anwyn collection Song of Silver, which is available still from Dark Regions press or on Amazon.com or any other place you can order books (like the Genre Mall).
One door closes, another opens. Such is life.
No regrets...
