Hi, just new to the forum and this may be the place to ask a question Ive wanted to ask/wonered about for quite a few years.

I watched some animation several (many) years ago on BBC2?

I was basically humanoid-looking robots fighting across a battle field. It focused on one as it progressed forward, until it was destroyed, then swithed to another nearby and followed its advance, until it was destroyed etc ...

This is so vague a description (as is my memory of it) that its probably impossible to tell (I cant even remember when I saw it - which suggests it was a long time ago)

Still perhaps by chance some one knows or can suggest something?
If not - well it doesnt hurt to try.

I remember that BBC2 had an anime season a while back, as I remember watching it myself, but could it be Patlabor? Patlabor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia That's the first name that came to mind for me.
