So does anyone know why it's called Alchymist in the UK but Scurator everywhere else?

If only to satisfy my curiosity

I understand Ian is an Aussie so while I can see why (HP & the) Philosopher's stone was changed to Sorcerer's stone (to a degree) in the US. I don't know why the name was changed for the UK. I actually assumed it was changed from Alchymist to Scurator for the US audience
