What can I say? We're all tired, but Issue Three of Escape Velocity magazine has been released in print. EV is jointly edited by yours truly and Geoff Nelder of Chester, Great Britain.
It's kind of funny, because Geoff and I have edited several books, created a magazine together, and other things...yet we have never actually met. Sometimes I think I know him like a brother, though.
Currently, Geoff is off cavorting in Cyprus while the Seattle AB staff shivers in the cold rain. Now how fair is that?
Okay...we did hear something about his daughter's wedding. I guess that excuse works.
On a serious note, the third issue of EV contains nine short stories, several great articles, and an interview with best-selling author Dan Simmons ('The Terror', 'Farcaster', the 'Hyperion' series). With more than 100 photos and illustrations and everything else packed into 112 pages, it's our best effort yet, we think.
