He has written both good and bad books. I would say that his latest books are the worst.

I love the Sten series, the Shadow Warrior trilogy and the Seer King trilogy. The rest I could have gone without, though I have not read the Anteros series yet so I'll reserve my judgement on that one.

His novels Corsair and The Empire Stone are really good as well.
