New MacGyver movie planned

To the uninitiated, it was an 80's tv show starring Richard Dean Anderson - aka Colonel O'Neill. Play a government scientist whose skills at making ingenius devices out of household objects would put the A Team to shame.

No word on who will play the great mulleted one yet. My vote goes to Colin Farrell. Give him the same haircut as he had in Miami Vice, sans mustache and voila!

Also, I'd say, if they're planning to pull off more MacGyver - they should work it like they did with Indiana Jones - which is even easier, b/c Mac already has a kid. Even if they recast his son, it would work better to start with the 'next generation' instead of recasting the original.
