It's been a long time coming, but you can now order signed copies of my books online using a credit/debit card, or by telephone using the same. No more faffing about with cheques and order forms will be necessary, though this form of ordering will remain available.
I have made an agreement with my local games/book shop, The Games Vault, (The Games Vault - Home) who will become my intermediary for such transactions. Steve, the manager of the shop, has impressed me no end since he opened in November last year. He is so industrious and reliable that I can think of no one I'd rather entrust my mail order business to. As such, the mailshot for Firestorm will be the last one that I manage. After this, all information on future books will be sent out from The Games Vault.
For anyone worried about resulting junk mail - don't. My agreement with Steve is that only marketing material pertaining to my books will be sent to those people on my personal mailing list. I will retain intellectual property rights to the contact details of my personal customers.
Although still in early days of development, the facility to order through this system is already up and running. I've asked for a certain amount of clarification to be put on the page on how to get dedications included, but I expect all the details on the page to be sorted by the end of the week.
Books ordered through the Games Vault will be signed and despatched as swiftly as they would if ordered directly from me. I visit the shop several times a week, as it is one of my regular writing haunts. (I work upstairs in one of the three gaming rooms) As such, dedications in books will not be an issue.
If you wish to make use of this facility, here's the link: The Games Vault - Mark Robson Books
Oh, and if you missed out on the limited edition book, Time Pieces, The Games Vault has about 3 of the remaining few copies, so be quick if you don't want to miss out a second time!
If you have any comments about the layout of the page on The Games Vault website, please let me know and I'll see if I can get appropriate changes incorporated. Thanks.
