I was just wondering, after a famous or well respected author dies then a family member or whoever sometimes "discovers" that they had a whole bunch of unfinished manuscripts. Like in the case of Tolkien you see new stories pop up even after he has been gone for many years. Do you think we might hear about some hidden gems DG forgot to publish or just did not bother because he thought they were not good etc? I think it would be cool if something like that happened.

While I think DG had ideas for future novels, I dont think he wrote them down. He rarely planned a novel, with the exception of Troy, and the story almost wrote itself. DG has said in interviews that he's often as suprised as the fans when he writes a scene.

At the end of Quest For Lost Heroes we meet the twins for the first time.
In Winter warriors Nogusta references the war of the twins by saying the Drenai re-took castle Tenaka (Dros Delnoch) In the resulting war the temple of the 30 was destroyed and the armour of Bronze stolen by the thief Lascerin...
That's a whole novel worth of material that has been lost to us.
Just think of the cool characters that could be used...
Another Decado, a direct descendant of Skillgannon.
A whole temple of the 30.
The twins themselves and their respective Nadir and Drenai armies.
Will someone please write this book??

Does anyone know of a person Called Three Swords in the Drenai novels round about the time of Waylander/ The Grey Man? He/ She was mentioned at the very end of White Wolf when Ustarte was talking to someone else and I cant think of any character who it could be.

3 swords was a demon who could only be hurt by water or wood,
I think he featured in Winter Warriors.
but I could be wrong...
I've read the entire Drenai saga several times but Have a terrible memory...
I think he fought Nogusta...again could be wrong.
Anyone else shed a bit of light???

I'm with you on the might have beens.... I was so shocked and saddened when he died (also shaken as I'm about the same age as DG). There as so many things that could lead into other stories and "sagas" in his writings. i only hope that if anyone actually does get "the rights" to build on his stuff that they are somewhere near as good as he was. Look at all the Conan stories, they're such a mixed lot that fans have to decide what each of us individually will accept as part of Conan's bio.

Hero in the Shadows. Waylander 3. He's one of the Kriaz-nor, arch rivals to the Riaj-nor. Both sets of warriors are Joinings, only more intelligent.

That's the Krayakin mate. Antikas Karios beat one of them on a bridge while Nogusta beat 2 others.
