Blood+ Live Action and Offshoots

Does anyone know the status of the Blood + Live action movie that was promised? These are often just acquisition of rights and never go anywhere but I thought it's recent showing on Cartoon Channel was maybe a publicity for work in production. Also, several offshoots, based mainly on Saya's adventures in her other awakenings, were also planned as anime but I've heard nothing of them.

I haven't heard anything about more Saya anime adventures. That would be cool, since Blood+ is one of my favorites. As for the live action movie, all I heard about was on Sci-Fi Channel Forums, and it was less than what you've heard. I haven't seen the showing on Cartoon Channel.
