I am so glad I found this forum! Somehow it came up on my google alerts for Australian Cattle Dog, LOL. Anyway, I have searched the internet and cannot find a book I read as a child. It was about cats in space. They had evolved so that their little toes had become long like fingers so they could do human things. There were few (maybe no?) humans left, or at least humans were not the dominant species. I think it was a fairly slim book. I can picture the very spot they had it at my library, but I cannot come up with the title. I've tried searching astro cat, but that came up with nothing. Thanks for any help!
