Good news for Beavers

It certainly is. Ever since I heard about the project last year, I've been wondering how they were getting on, so it's good to see an update. Thanks for posting it, Vladd!
 
Seems like good news, especially as there may be kits in the lodge.
 
Beavers... ah yes; nothing quite like fishing at night along a stream and having one swim, stealthily, up close; only to loudly smack the water with its tail.
Its quite startling... and wet.

This is great news! It's always nice to hear about the bird and animal species that are now being re-introduced after being extinct for so long. If there are kits I hope they grow safely to adulthood. :)

Three osprey chicks have hatched at a secret nest site in the Lake District.

A male has nested at Bassenthwaite Lake since 2001, and paired up with the current female there two years ago.

Experts had hoped for two chicks, but were delighted on Wednesday when an inspection team discovered three healthy young birds
