I think we need to stir up more buzz for our favorite, or some might only find it one of their favorite, book series. I mean I was reading something that said a few networks base a little bit about "Buzz" that they get from shows. As far as I could see was that "Buzz" meant people searching for things about the show. So seeing as we all want George to be MORE popular and get his name further out there then we've got to let everyone know that we fans are out here. I don't know about everyone else but my browser's homepage is google most times I jump on I'll just search for it and go. Seeing as there hasn't been much good news out of George in the last few months I'd stopped searching and waiting for an announcement about Dance. So I was sort of upset with myself when I heard from somebody else, usually I'm the guy suppling the information, that Sept 30th has been whispered as the release date of the book. AWESOME but sad. I'd stopped searching so I was the last to find out. The whole point to all this. Search for George when you start your browser up. Just pop in his name or your favorite book of his and let the BUZZ begin. If anything it'll keep his stuff fresh in your head and make him climb the google trends/yahoo buzz list. Instead of Paris Hilton or George D-bag Bush we could have Dance of Dragons and George R R Marting as the top searches if not in the top ten. Then tell everyone else you know about this little mission who likes George Martin. Hell if you can remember search in the beginning and before you get off. It takes like two seconds and can quickly make a difference if we all start getting behind it.

The problem is that even if every single person on GRRM's official forum, everyone here and everyone on every SF&F forum ever all typed in GRRM's name into Google every second for every day for a week, you still wouldn't put a dent in Google's top searches, which are likely to be descriptions of various intimate acts.

Also, the book isn't coming out in September. It's been pushed back until April at the earliest :(

Go to google and punch in Google trends and you'll see. There are numbers but we've got to get them higher. Plus do you think that a TV show says... Oh wait we didn't do good at all @$$}{0/_3 has beat us so are show isn't liked as much as that.
