I think I mentioned this book previously; just before we had the infamous crash. So, basically just out of personal interest, has anyone read Roderick Macleish's Prince Ombra?
On the general earth rumblings of fantasy fiction it barely measures on the Richter scale. It's a very short novel, but it makes up for that in the quality of the story and its writing.
I just felt I had to mention this particular novel. It's one of my favourites and to give you details of the actual plot wouldn't set your antennas a tingling. It's the rudimentary, young child against unimaginable evil sort of thing.
If you haven't read it I would recommend it very highly. If you have, does your opinion differ drastically with mine?
As I say it's not a particularly interesting thread, very limited in its scope, but I thought I might as well ask.
