The Furlings

Can someone just clarify for me the Furlings were never actually the centre point of any episode? I know they were in a flash back for about 315 seconds if that. But they never actually took centre stage at any point did they?

They have never, in my knowledge, EVER appeared in "real life" in the show, only by reference. Oh, but their writing ("Torment of Tantalus") and technology ("Paradise Lost") do appear.

The "Furlings" are apparently shown in the series 10 episode "200", but it's a spoof episode and interviews of TPTB suggest they don't realistically think that's what they look like. It's more for comedy effect in the 200th episode.
