The Path Of daggers (spoilers!)

I just finished this book which I actually started reading in July! A long time huh? Well I have to tell you I have NEVER had so much trouble getting through a novel. The stories concerning the 'little tower' just plain bored me to tears. I wanted to read EVERYTHING so I would alway go back to the beginning of the chapter and get stuck in the quagmire again! Also, I am really tired of these 'catfights' between Aes Sedai. It became old a LONG time ago. Some parts of the book were actually really cook. The battle with the Seanchan. Elaida's difficult situation. Rand's beating by the Aiel for example. But so much of this book felt like 'fluff'. Books one to five were excellent but I feel as if this have really gone down since then. I will try to start book 9, Winter's Heart, this weekend. Do things get better frm here?

Book 9 is an improvement over book 8 but book 10 is probably the worst in the series. Book 11 is actually pretty good though.
