I was in Barnes & Noble one day and I was reading a graphic novel. I can't remember what it was called anymore and I've asked a lot of people all of whom failed to identify the name of this story. Here is what I remember of the graphic novel:
It started from the birth of this baby who cried because his skin was hurting him but his dad was a scientist and created some solution that was blue that he rubbed all over his son's body and the baby's skin stopped hurting. So now the kid was always blue.
At one point the kid gets kidnapped and it the people who tried torturing him couldn't pierce his skin due to the blue substance.
The lab where the boys' father worked in closed down and the scientists snuck something out of the lab.
Later on the kid gets enrolled in an elite school where he becomes really adept at building things and this other kid (who I remembered was only in the school because he had connections or something - either way he wasn't as smart) So this other fat kid tries to sabotage the main characters creations or something. By this time the kid isn't blue anymore because the advanced the solution on his skin so it was clear.
I don't know if i remember anymore of the story but I think it was one of those origins stories about the start of some superhero. For some reason I thought it might have been something like ultimate iron man or something.
Please help! I really wanted to remember what the name of that graphic novel was.
