Future Imperfect; or, PKD and the Movie Industry

Nice find.

Interesting book if you have all PKD books and are looking for extra stuff.

I wouldnt pay for it as it is now though. You dont need to read this book to know hollywood movies of PKD except Blade Runner arent similar story, tone wise to the original stories. They could be movies based on the writer of Jumper before Philip K Dick...

Also, they have tended to use his short stories and embellish them. As far as I'm aware, of the films made, only A Scanner Darkly was a novel. Now if the made The Man in the High Castle or Ubik...

The Man in the High Castle would be difficult to bring up to date though. It needs to be set in the '60's really, and I'm sure film studios won't go for that.

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep is a novel.

Apart from that one! ;) We can all forget our brain once in a while.

I was thinking of it more as a novelette. Confessions of a Crap Artist is also a novel, and a French language film. Radio Free Albemuth is a film in production.

I was also thinking of We Can Remember It for You Wholesale, The Minority Report, Paycheck, Second Variety, Impostor, The Golden Man, and The King of the Elves, but I will do my homework better next time. :(
