OK, I realise Feist has made a few mistakes over the years, but I need to clarify something. My Son has recently finished Exiles and is now on Flight of the Night Hawks, its been a while since I read them and I don't really want to flick through both books to see if the glaring errors he's noticed are correct,

1. In Exiles Ryan is King of the Isles but in Night Hawks its Patrick:confused:

2. Kaspar as we know has a sister but no children, but in Night Hawks, during the meal with the Keshian Princes. It says he has no siblings and one daughter:confused:

Can someone please put me out of my misery, have I missed a couple of biggies or is my son mistaken:confused:

1. Feist screwed up with pat being king (whatta joik).
2. There is a question on Feists site asking about the sibling thing, Feist replied, it should have said the only male sibling.

Patrick was Prince of Krondor in Shards of a Broken Crown, I flicked through Exiles last night and Ryan is King. So I checked Night Hawks and yes he does say Patrick is King. Necromancy in Play?

The other thing my son pointed out was Feist couldn't seem to make up his mind if the Keshian Princes were the Emperors grandsons or sons:D

The problem is Feist admitted some time ago that he doesn't re-read any of his books. This, in my eyes, leads to many mistakes popping up now and again. 'The King's Buccaneer' was the first book to include many simple mistakes, mostly spelling, but 'Flight of the Night Hawks', in my opinion, is his worst in this category. My advice is to ignore anything in that book that contradicts what is said in 'Exile's Return'; the book is riddled with errors!
