I'd been toying with the idea, but it sure looks like the hotels are sold out (or are they just sold out of non-DragonCon-reserved rooms?). May be time to hit my niece (whose birthday I've never missed!) up for a place to stay (she's in the burbs).

Crikey - just last week the overflow hotels still had room. Guess my hubby will be staying farther out fromt he city center than he thought. Won't stop him going though, it's too much fun.

Attempts to dredge Atlanta, Geeowja out of sludge pool of memory. Gig, the Omni. hotel Peachtree plaza, Underground Atlanta, "well gee, y'all", (couldn't they get hotel staff who were at least bilingual in Georgiaspeak and English?)…

I wonder how much of it still exists.

Oh, probably all, Chris. I suspect they fear and hate change just like the rest of us. 'cept me who fears change, but gets a weird thrill from it (or ulcer)
