Has anyone heard that Robert Rodriguez is going to direct a new Predator film? Apparently it will be called 'Predators'... hmmm, imaginative.

Could be good though. Well, certainly better than the two AVP films.

I enjoyed the first one. It was a lot better than people give it credit for. The second one however. Hmmm. How did that script get the green light?

This could be intersting though.

Preditors hunting the undead? Too easy! Undead Preditors perhaps!

I liked the first one when it first came out but the alien is definitely the highlight of the film. I hate the typical, excuse me here,'gung ho yank' approach of these kind of films(Aliens was spoiled by the same thing)
It kind of gives us non americans the impression that thats how americans are,and I'm sure thats wrong.
I actuall prefer the second Predator movie now,and as for AvP well...

I have to say I quite like the whole gung ho aspect of the first Predator. It's most definitely a product of the 80s and it's practically swimming in testosterone; but if you can look at it in that respect and not take it too seriously it's a lot of fun.

Rodrigues was confirmed in this months Sci-Fi now magazine.

It also confirmed that the next films was "Predators" . (Not Aliens Vs.) I'll be keeping an eye on this as there could be some good concepts for this. I wouldn't mind seeing the predators homeworld.

I saw this poster on SFX. It looks pretty cool.

IMDB is now showing the director as Nimród Antal...

Everyone knocks AvP, and after Requim i can see why, but the first AvP was a decent film. In terms of who i root for , unlike Cayal im always going for the Aliens. But Predator is cool and it would be good to see a new one

Just seen a trailer for this. Looks to be set on a different planet that looks fairly similar to South America. Laurence Fishburne is in it.

I'm really hoping Predators does the saga proud. I have always liked the Alien movies even is just for the story (Aliens 3).
I would expect nothing less than a full on gun ho blood guts and all meat fest from any movie with a predator in it. AvP delivered AvP-R did and didn't (could have done with less human story)

I knock AvP for what it did to the Alien franchise, rather than the Predator franchise (which it advanced somewhat, in that new information was revealed.) This film goes back to the original Predator premise and for that alone it must be a good thing.

I've been keeping an eye on the trailers for "Predators" (and in the UK it appears to open next weekend?), and it does indeed seem to be a back-to-basics, almost a remake of the original movie (albeit with twists): group of heavily armed & trained humans being hunted by the Predator species in a jungle environment.

I`m lookin forward to go and see this film , big fan of Rodrigez and I`m sure it will be miles better than AvP which I thought was bobbins .

I watched Predators a few days ago on a flight. It is perhaps a little too similar to the original and not as good but I have to say I enjoyed it. Certainly much better than the AvP stuff.

I definately enjoyed this film. It was sooo scary!! predator scares me more than any other alien/thingy!
