Is there such a word as crytozoology, Boney? All the googlings seem to suggest it's just a misspelling.

I'm more interesting in cryozoology. When I was a kid, my little brother and I used to put dead animals we'd found in our freezer. At first I froze them in ice, but then you couldn't see them, so we just put them in old ice-cream tubs. Pride of the collection was a mole.

Thought maybe crytozoology was the study of Krytens from Red Dwarf. Google had huge amounts of cryptozoology, can understand why lilmiz would want a recommendation.......... Even weirder.....lilmiz says the computer she writes on is not connected to the internet....so how did she get here....? Curiouser and curiouser.......

Amazon.com: cryptozoology books

Link to Amazon's crypto section -

Maybe your library has this section soyou could scan what you want and not buy the book - unless, you want the book on hand for years to come, in which case, many of the amazon books seems a decent buy.

and if you can't follow the link, the most popular in Amazon's list is :

Cryptozoology A To Z: The Encyclopedia of Loch Monsters, Sasquatch, Chupacabras, and Other Authentic Mysteries of Nature by Loren Coleman and Jerome Clark (Paperback - Aug 5, 1999)
$11.70
