Hi, all,

As some here may know, the BSFA hold monthly meetings (open to all) at which an invited guest is interviewed. Already this year guests have included the likes of American author Michael Swanwick, film critic Nick Lowe, Hugo-winning academic Farah Mendlesohn, and a triumvirate of top British authors -- Alastair Reynolds, Jon Courtenay Grimwood and Adam Roberts -- while later this year Doris Lessing is scheduled to feature.

This month, for some reason, the guest is... ehm... me. So if anybody fancies a trip to The Antelope Tavern, 22, Eaton Terrace, Belgravia (three minutes walk from Sloane Square tube station) on the evening of Wednesday, 24th June, feel free to come and heckle.

It's a Fullers pub, by the way, so great beer!

Congratulations, Ian.

(But just a word of advice: don't gulp the Fullers - well, not until after the interview.)

Thanks for the early heads-up, Ian. I've tried getting to these meetings before now, but never manage to sort out being in London that day. I'll try and sort out some work-related meetings during the day, so I can come along and heckle in the evening :D
