Well, it's a little better than the break dancing Rand 'al Thor with the missing left hand and the apparently broken leg, but not by much(click on it to make it bigger in an amazon window):




Yes, it looks like the rest of the series' US books, with covers that got steadily worse as the series progressed (or didn't progress, in books 7 through 10). What's with the haunted house in the background?
 
Horrible. It's just like his pose in The Dragon Reborn, only worse.
 
Why does such a popular series have such dreadful artwork? They could get the most fanatastic, fantasy art for this... does the current artist have something on the publisher? I think we should be told.
