Zima Blue by Alastair Reynolds

Hello all, i bought this book in FP last week. It's another set of short stories all set outside of the Revelation Space universe.

I haven't started it yet, but just wondered if anyone else had. If so, what do you think? Is it as good as Galactic North?

Didn't think about cross-posting on this thread until I stumbled over it just now. I recently read it and talked about it on the short story thread.

Unless you're like me, you've probably finished it by now. What did you think? It'd be hard for me to say in terms of whether it's as good as Galactic North - I'd probably still give the edge to GN but it's close - I think Zima is more variable, having both better and worse stories. They're both really good overall, though.
