Can't remember title of norse based fantasy novel...Demigods, maimed heroes...etc.

Old classic base on norse myths contains a demi god who is the son of a god but doesn't know it, with a pet wolf name Secundum or maybe Secundun, a crippled blonde orphan who's sword skills are better than most. I believe teh demigod is the patron god or leader of the orphans slaughtered tribe or village.
An archer who loses an eye in battle. I'm pretty sure it's part of a series. For the life of me I don't know why I can't remember any of the protagonist's names! Must have read it 12 or 15 years ago and would like to buy copies of the series via ebook.

You wouldn't be thinking of a novel called Rhinegold, by Stephan Grundy? It has a followup novel called Attila's Treasure.

I've had them both sitting in my TBR pile for quite some time, but haven't gotten around to reading them yet.

No, that isn't it, but having looked at summaries for that book I'd like to read it too.

I don't place this. It's been some years but since I read them, but could it be on of Elizabeth Boyer's books? I remember they were heaviely influnced by Norse mythology (and Tolkien).
