Desperate bloggers offline

I feel certain that I once read either a book or a short story, which starts out with someone getting bugged by someone who used to be a blogger, but now desperately tries to do make and sell something similar on paper since the internet has broken down, only the ex-blogger isn't horribly good at finding news now that he can't go online to find them.

That's all I remember. Does anyone have a clue what story it might be?

I've looked though the anthologies I have, but found nothing which looks like what I'm looking for.
